WHO Experts Appeal to Spread Guangdong's Methods of SARS Control

World Health Organization experts have advised the world and the rest of China to adopt the same measures used to contain SARS in Guangdong Province in the south of the country.
　　Wolfgang Preiser, a German virologist, told a press conference he has just wrapped up his investigation in the SARS-stricken province. He met with local health authorities, medical professionals and experts in the provincial Centers for Disease Control laboratories.
　　The experts warned effective control does not mean eradication, but that Guangdong has made "huge progress" in containing the disease.
　　Dr Wolfgang Preiser, WHO German Virologist:
　　"Nothing is a hundred per cent so there is still, even there (Guangdong), there is still some way to go before we can say that the epidemic is fully under control and we were expecting cases to be found elsewhere in China due to the transport of people and travelling."
